A hat with a becoming "beauty of line" can make the wearer look years younger."Beauty of line" is difficult to define and is never independent of the wearer of the hat. Any hat that illuminates and compliments the attractive features of the wearer - such as hair, skin, eye color or facial features - has the right "beauty of line".
The position and manner of placing a hat on the head is often underestimated. The angle of the hat can contribute to the beauty of line as much as the design of the hat itself.

The best way to select a hat is to try it on in front of a mirror. When the most becoming hat is found, it's general lines should be a part of every other hat worn.
